  1. Oh, Chris. How fun this is going to be. John did such a great job. Very deep comments about time and history, love and creativity. For me after watching it, it’s so jarring to see Ringo and Paul as they are now after thinking I just spent days with them. Their ever present past, indeed.

  2. Regarding John introducing George Martin to Billy Preston as “our A&R man” on ‘Get Back days 9 & 10,’ that was what a producer was called at the time The Beatles were signed to Parlophone. It wasn’t a slight. Also, George Martin was a record producer, and Glyn was hired to do the sound for their live recording of the show.
