I’d read in a Macca biography years ago that this was issued as the MPL coffers were getting low, which you had thankfully explained were due to London Town not selling as well as expected. This album was my first ever music purchase, and I too was greatly disappointed it lacked Maybe I’m Amazed, his best solo song ever, in my opinion. Thank you for this review.

I was always amazed that Paul could play that base line in “Silly Love Songs” and song at the same time.
